Founded by Dr. Harvey Anderson, The Coaches' Coach was established in response to the significant gap between coach education and the practical knowledge that everyday sports coaches require. Sport coaching is a complex and challenging vocation, both highly rewarding and demanding. Our mission is to empower you to make a difference in your coaching journey and what you stand for as you coach the coaches.
Dr. Harvey Anderson is the founder of the Coaches' Coach platform, dedicated to helping professionals coach the coaches. With over 30 years of coaching experience and 25 years as a Coach Educator, he holds a Doctorate of Professional Studies in Sport Coaching, an MSc in Sport & Exercise Science, and a BSc (Hons) in PE and Sport Science. Dr. Anderson has presented his research globally, including in the USA, Australia, Japan, and at several European conferences. Additionally, he has served as an External Advisor to numerous universities in the UK and overseas.
We believe passionately in the use of evidence-based practices to enhance the coaching practices of our coaches. Our commitment extends to the idea that athlete development must come before performance outcomes. We are firm in our conviction that high-quality coaching and mentorship can significantly improve how we coach the coaches.
To improve the effectiveness of our team, we need to focus on strategies that will allow us to coach the coaches, ensuring that our leadership is equipped to guide others effectively.
